Terms of Service
Prior to any service provided by IT-Expert on Call,
Client must agree to the terms and conditions set forth within this Terms of
Service.
By scheduling an appointment, you hereby agree to these terms and conditions in full.
- Service Rates will vary depending on the nature of the service provided
- Any software or hardware provided by client for servicing is deemed legally obtained. It is not the responsibility of IT-Expert on Call to determine legality.
- Terms of Service and Service Rates are subject to change without notice. It is the client's responsibility to have an up-to-date copy of IT-Expert on Call Terms of Service and Service Rates as published on website.
- It is client's responsibility to perform data backups prior to service. In the event of data loss, IT-Expert on Call is not responsible and as such can not be held liable for any damages or costs incurred.
- Upon completion of the performed service(s), client must pay IT-Expert on Call the cost of each performed service as listed on the website.
- In the event client pays by cheque, and the cheque is returned for any reason, client is still responsible for payment of
service(s) rendered. In addition, there is a $70.00 returned cheque processing fee plus a late payment
fee.
Late payment fee: Invoice(s) presented are due and payable upon submission. Late payment fees equal to 5% per month [60% per annum] will be levied on the outstanding balance owing if payment is not received within 10 days from Invoice date. - It is clients responsibility to verify that any retail and/or manufacturers warranty will not become void as a result of servicing by IT-Expert on Call. In the event the warranty becomes void, IT-Expert on Call will not carry forward the remaining warranty.
- IT-Expert on Call will only perform service(s) requested during the scheduled appointment. Any additional service(s) not part of the original appointment must be scheduled at a later time. In the event IT-Expert on Call schedule permits additional time for service(s), the work may proceed.
- All scheduled appointments are on a first come, first serve basis. IT-Expert on Call normal business hours — Monday through Friday — from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Service requests made outside of our normal business hours, or on Statutory Holidays, or of an URGENT nature will incur an additional 100% premium added to your service invoice.
- For on-site Support and/or Training engagements a minimum of $60 trip fee will be added to your Invoice.

Cancellation fee: On-Site service engagements are subject to a minimum Cancellation
Fee of $120.00 or cost-of-service for Time allocated for the engagement which-ever-amount is the greater.
Cancellation fee will be waived if we receive notice of cancellation [24] twenty-four hours before the start of the engagement via telephone (613) 828-6611 or via email » mozerd@itexpertoncall.com «.Service Satisfaction Guarantees: All on-site services [when paid in full] qualify for our 60-day guarantee for workmanship based on the services performed. Reconfigurations or changes and modifications to the operation of equipment detailed in the original service call will void any additional guarantees.
